Ten years after her debut with Balloon, Peggy Hsu is opening a Magical Shop with her fifth album! The independent Taiwan singer-songwriter has again taken on all songwriting and most production works, with the help of a production team that includes bands like Wonfu, Tizzy Bac, Cosmos People, and Le Cirque. Each of Peggy's past albums has had its own distinctive tone and characteristics, and this latest album is a fantasy storybook with 15 tracks encompassing styles from indie pop, rock, electronica, to jazz, classical, and world music. With a unique Latin tango sound, the titular first plug "Magical Shop" blends Peggy's elfish voice with the creative use of sound effects to create a romantic tale that makes its listeners smile.
