Ronia the Robber's Daughter (山賊の娘ローニャ Sanzoku no Musume Rōnya) is a computer-animated cel shaded anime series, based on the book Ronia the Robber's Daughter (Ronja Rövardotter) written by Astrid Lindgren. The series is directed by Gorō Miyazaki and animated by Polygon Pictures, and co-produced by Studio Ghibli. Singer and actress Aoi Teshima will perform the theme song "Haru no Sakebi" (Spring's Shout) for Goro Miyazaki's (Tales from Earthsea, From Up On Poppy Hill) upcoming television anime adaptation of Swedish author Astrid Lindgren's Ronia the Robber's Daughter children's fantasy book. Miyazaki is writing the lyrics, and Hiroko Taniyama is composing the song...
